Thanksgiving Eve Worship November 25 - 7:00 p.m.

Come let us worship the Lord! And give thanks for His many blessings!

A special time set aside to give thanks to the One from whom all things come ... to the One in whom we live and move and have our being ... to the One with whom we are joined in ministry - God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

A special time set aside to give thanks for our country ... our faith ... our freedoms ... our families ... our friends ... our fellowship together in the body of Christ.

A special time set aside to be fed by the Lord in Word and Sacrament ... to sing hymns of thanksgiving ... to offer ourselves in thanksgiving for all we have received.

A special time to gather at St. Paul with our brothers and sisters and the choir of Grace Lutheran Church simply to give thanks.

Come let us worship the Lord! And give thanks for His many blessings!

Thankfully yours in His Name,

Pastor Dan Deutsch

We welcome the newly confirmed members of St. Paul Lutheran Church into this community of worshiping Christians. After two years of study, the composition of a statement of faith and an interview with the Church Council, the following members were confirmed October 4, 1998.

Tickets are on sale now at the Church office and from circle group members and Sunday Mornings at coffee hour. It's $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under 12. (There are NO reserved tickets). Menu: Turkey Casserole, roll, cranberry salad, and apple crisp for dessert.. Plan on coming to do your Christmas Shopping, we have a lot of very wonderful items for sale. This year we will also have a lot of sauerkraut for sale. Special thanks to the group who came to make it at the Church so we would have it to sell, and to Grace and Harvey Olsen for donating the cabbage. White Elephant items must be brought to the church no later than November 4 so there is time to mark the prices on the items. Please remember only bring good items that are in good shape and that you think will sell. For those who are donating craft and homemade food items, you may bring them to the gym on Friday, Nov. 6th from 9:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. Lots and lots of Fancy Cookies are needed for our Famous Cookie Walk. Dust off those recipes, start thinking about what you can do to keep those ladies walking all day so they don't sell out early again. Also baked breads, pies, fudge, canned goods, jams, jellies, fresh produce, and any baked goods are needed for our Country Store. What do we need for our Needle Work Shop? I'll tell you aprons, throw pillows, homemade dishcloths, potholders, table runners, doll clothes, vests, Afghans, sweat shirts, any knitted or crocheted item. Craft corner items that sell well and we need donated are any kind of wood cut outs, bird houses, bird feeders, centerpieces, home made jewelry, dried flowers, and wreaths (burlap, pine cones, straw, and grapevine). To everyone who have worked at home and those who have worked at church and helped to plan many thanks for all you have done in preparation for this annual event. This years Bazaar funds will be combined with last years proceeds to furnish the new Prayer area in the basement area. Also, we will once again tithe 10% of profits that we earn that day to a charity. Matching funds provided by AAL #9713 Thank you Esther Kindt & Ann Olsen Bazaar Co-chairs
