 Confessions of Faith

Twelve of our students took the next step in their faith in the Rite of Confirmation.  They promised to remain connected with God, their parents, and each other.  As part of their confirmation process they each wrote a Statement of Faith  This page will be updated every few weeks with additional posting and photo from our students.

Ty Froggett

Ty Froggett - I believe God is the Lord, the Father, the Creator, and Protector.  Without God's presence in the world, there would be no heaven and more crime.  Without God in my life I wouldn't have him to thank for everything, I wouldn't be on earth and I wouldn't have parents.

I believe Jesus is the Creator of heaven and earth; he is the Savior and the Spirit in my life.  I am reminded of what Jesus did for me when I look at the cross.

I believe the Holy Spirit lives within us, the church is God's house, the Communion of Saints is the gathering of all of us, God forgives our sins and I believe in Eternal Life.

My Christian faith helps me in my family life, helps me have fun with my friends and helps me with my grades at school.  God uses me to pray, rebuild broken down houses, and live happy.

Adam FroggettAdam Froggett - I believe God is the Creator, the Father and Protector.  Without God's presence in the world, there would be lots of crime and no heaven.  Without God in my life I wouldn't be on earth, I wouldn't be able to go to God with my troubles and I might not have a mom.

I believe Jesus gave his life, he is at the right hand of God, he is in me and he saved me.  When I look at the cross I think of my freedom.

I believe the Holy Spirit lives within us, the church is God's house; the Communion of Saints is the gathering.  I believe the Holy Spirit helps me stay out of trouble, keep my grades up, and helps me make good choices

Cory Fisher

Cory Fisher - I believe that God created the earth and everything on it.  He loves us so much that he gave his son to die for our sins.  Jesus rose again and sees everything happening in the world.  He forgives our sins.  What a different world this would be without God and his son Jesus Christ.  They bring peace to the earth.

Charles Coombs

Charles Coombs - God - He made us, he loves us, he forgives our sins!  I wish I could ask him, "How do I get all of the people in the world to believe in you?"  His son, Jesus, is such an awesome friend.  He is always with us, guiding us and encouraging us to give him our best.

   Jon Dziesinski
Jon Dziesinski - God the Creator loves us and forgives our sins when we ask him to forgive us and to help us be his faithful disciples.  He sent his son, Jesus, to "pay the price" for my sins;  I can look forward to spending eternity with him.

We can count on Jesus to be with us in times of need.  He is always with us.  Our Christian faith keeps my family together during the tough times.  When my dad was in the hospital, we knew we could count on Jesus to be with us and to help us do whatever needed to be done.

I thank my parents for supporting me in my faith life, and for bringing me to church each Sunday.  Their example has helped me grow as a Christian.  I know that whatever challenges I face as a teen, God is in my life and will help me to make wise choices.
